Archivist. Digital Humanist. Educator.

I am an information science professional with a broad skill set.

In my goal to make cultural heritage accessible through archival science, I bring together my background in art history and education. I hold a Master of Arts in Art History from UT Austin (with my thesis addressing the intersection of art and science), and a Certificate of Advanced Study in Visual Arts Education from CUNY Brooklyn College. I have several years of experience in the nonprofit and education field, including three years as an elementary school art teacher.

As an Imaging Archivist at the Austin History Center, I create digital surrogates of archival material to make collections increasingly available to the public. Other experience I have had in the information science profession include my role as a Digital Scholarship & Special Collections Intern at LLILAS Benson Latin American Collection, and an Instructional Technology Assistant at UT’s School of Information. In December 2020, I earned a Master of Science in Information Studies from UT Austin, with Endorsements of Specialization in Archival Enterprise and Digital Humanities.
